Born in East Berlin and raised on the revolutionary spirit of the 90s techno-punk era, Alfred Heinrichs is a veteran DJ, producer, and label owner known for his driving, melodic grooves and raw creative energy. As the force behind labels like Supdub, Moonplay, and Dantze, Alfred has spent decades shaping the underground scene with standout releases like “Me and My Boys”, “Lichtenberg”, and the chart-topping “Personal Magic.”
Equally adept behind the decks and in the studio, Alfred’s sound is bold, minimal, and deeply emotional — a signature blend that’s earned him support from the likes of Cocoon, Minus, and Katermukke. He’s also one-half of the cult duo Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner, whose philosophy “the beat from the street” continues to resonate across dance floors.
As founder of the “Open Minded” radio show on Pure.FM and with multiple aliases (including his techno alter ego JOLY), Alfred Heinrichs remains one of Germany’s most consistent and innovative electronic artists.
